Yang Cheng

Ph.D. Student


Yang is a first-year Ph.D. student in the department. Before joining AAEC, Yang earned a master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from China Agricultural University (CAU). Yang’s undergraduate research examined the impact of income growth on urban residents’ nutrition intake in China. She has previously been involved with projects that evaluate the impact of Confirmation of Rural Contracted Land Rights on farmers’ production in China. Currently, Yang’s general interests are in Applied Econometrics and Food & Health Economics but she is open to many other fields including Agribusiness and International Trade & Development.
