Paige is interested in using economics to guide responsible and sustainable decision-making. Most of her research has pertained to nonmarket valuation and freshwater resources. She has previously been involved with projects evaluating the economic values associated with freshwater resources and reducing arsenic levels in public drinking water. Currently her research focuses on evaluating risk in market transactions related to the installation of denitrifying bioreactors in freshwater springs. She has also been involved with Zero Waste and conducted economic and financial analyses to help guide zero waste initiatives at the University of New Hampshire in conjunction with The Post-Landfill Action Network.
