Konstantinos Syrengelas

Ph.D. Student


Kostantinos is a third-year student in our Ph.D. program. He came to AAEC having completed two prior theses - the first completed during his undergraduate years at the Agricultural University of Athens and the second during his master's program at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. His first thesis was titled "Producer Costs and Prices in the Greek Agriculture: An Econometric Analysis," and the second "Consumer Preferences and Willingness to Pay for Natural Beef: A Discrete Choice Experiment Approach. His interests are in applied econometrics, experimental economics, international trade and development, and philosophical foundations of econometrics and economics. He has published one journal article in Applied Economics Perspectives and Policy.
