Yangchuan is a Ph.D. student at AAEC. Before joining AAEC, he obtained a master’s degree in agricultural economics from Wageningen University in the Netherlands. Some of his previous research examined the impact factors of arable land lessors’ choices of lessees in China, and the impact different corn uses have on U.S. corn prices. Yangchuan's Ph.D. research interests involve agribusiness and applied econometrics. Specifically, he passionate about applying econometric models into agricultural futures markets and price analyses.
