Overview

Patrick provides technical support for the use-value assessment program and calculates annual estimates used in establishing real estate property taxes for agricultural and horticultural land in Virginia. He is responsible for researching and conceptualizing appropriate data, methods, and procedures to improve the validity and performance of the model for participating cities, counties, and stakeholders in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Patrick also develops and maintains crop enterprise budgets used to aid producers in evaluating alternative plans.
