Graduate Student Association (GSA)

Graduate students are encouraged to participate fully in departmental professional and social activities. 

The department’s GSA is an informal organization designed to serve the needs of graduate students and represent their interests. Membership is open to all graduate students in Agricultural and Applied Economics. Virginia Tech's larger organization, the Graduate and Professional Student Senate, provides a forum for discussion of issues affecting graduate students.

Through hikes, picnics, outings, and other social activities, AAEC graduate students build friendships beyond the classroom and research environment.
